1. What this covers

This policy explains what we collect when you visit xirsix.com, buy from us, or contact us, and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

When you place an order: name, email, phone (required for delivery), shipping and billing address, items ordered, and order history.

Payment card data: payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe Checkout. Your card number is entered on Stripe's secure page and is never sent to or stored on Xirsix servers. We receive only limited payment details from Stripe (for example, card brand, last four digits, and payment status). See Stripe's privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy

When you contact us or request a quote: your name, organization, email, phone, and the content of your message.

Warranty registration: module serial numbers, purchase date, and owner contact details (used for warranty coverage and transfers, per our Limited Warranty).

Automatically, when you browse: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar usage data, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see §4).

3. How we use it

• Fulfill and ship orders, provide tracking, and handle returns and warranty claims
• Answer questions, quotes, and support requests
• Keep business, tax, and accounting records
• Prevent fraud and secure our site
• Understand how the site is used and measure our advertising (see §4)
• Send product or safety notices related to your purchase. We do not send marketing emails.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use:

• Google Analytics 4 to understand site traffic and usage
• Google Ads tags to measure the results of our ads (for example, whether an ad click led to a purchase). We use these for conversion measurement only, not for remarketing.
• Essential cookies needed for the cart and checkout

Google may use cookies and collect data as described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of Google Analytics with https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, manage ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com, or block cookies in your browser. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: if your browser sends GPC, we do not load Google Analytics or Google Ads tags.

5. Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the business, under their own privacy and security obligations:

• Stripe for payment processing
• Shipping carriers (FedEx, and LTL freight carriers for large orders), who receive your name, address, and phone for delivery
• Google (Analytics and Ads) for usage and ad measurement
• Email provider (Proton) for correspondence with you
• Hosting provider (Google Cloud, US) for the servers that run our site
• Xero for our accounting records
• Accountants, legal advisors, or authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights

6. Retention

We keep order history, warranty registrations, and support correspondence for as long as we operate the business, so we can honor the 20-year warranty, support your modules, and meet tax and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete personal information we are not legally required to keep (see "Your choices and rights"). Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

7. Security

The site uses HTTPS, card payments are handled by Stripe, and access to order data is restricted to Xirsix personnel. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law (for example, tax records). Email support@xirsix.com. Residents of some states may have additional rights, and we will honor requests as required by applicable law.

9. Children

Our site and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.
